News update January 8, 2023

On behalf of Dutch Classics I wish you a happy, successful and healthy 2023! This year we will do our best again to bring the beautiful classic trains that once could be found in The Netherlands in the past, to Train Simulator. The past year has been a very busy year. Because of projects outside the world of Train Simulation we needed to put the development of rolling stock for Train Simulator on hold for some time. In the new year we plan to continue the development of beautiful virtual trains for your virtual railways. Also, the web shop will be renewed. We will offer more payment methods and we introduce a new way to handle all emails we receive every week. From now on we will respond to all questions within no more than 24 hours.

Welcome to the new web site!

If you visited this web site before, you have already noticed that the whole layout has been updated. The layout has been changed, so that you can find back the add ons for DTG Train Simulator and related news in an easier way. A number of elements of the old web site is not yet migrated at this time; it will be put back online in the coming days, such as the feedback form and the manual order form. More news about Dutch Classics and upcoming releases will follow soon.

The scripting of the functions of the 1300 class engines is converted step by step. The engine versions in the original edition of Dutch Classics 4 contain a separate simple mode and expert mode version for each engine. In the updated version it is possible to switch back and forth between simple mode and expert mode. For compatibility reasons, the editions of the engines still start either in simple mode or expert mode.
